Participant pathway

Recruit. Screen. Train.Connect. Place and Retain.

Five connected stages move a resident from first contact to a retained placement. Every stage is staffed, documented and reported.

    Community, workforce, education, veteran, reentry, disability-service, and industry outreach throughout Pierce County.

  2. Screen

    Eligibility, career-interest, barrier, safety, and readiness screening, with prospective participants contacted within two business days.

  3. Train

    An 80-hour employer-informed occupational training experience.

  4. Connect

    Employer meetings, worksite exposure, interview preparation, applications, and work-based learning opportunities.

  5. Place and Retain

    Placement support followed by check-ins at 7, 30, 60, and 90 days.

Five employer-informed modules stack to exactly 80 hours per participant. The standard holds at every funding level.

Potential credentials vary by pathway. Not every participant receives every credential, and regulated credentials are issued by qualified providers.
